Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffSeptember 25, 2015In its CD-ripping capabilities, CD to MP3 Ripper differs little from free media players. In addition to WMA and MP3 files, the program lets you copy audio from CDs to Ogg Vorbis and WAV formats. The outdated interface sometimes makes things difficult. To retrieve the names of CD tracks from the Internet, you have to click the FreeDB button, then the Download From FreeDB tab. In our tests, the MP3 conversion speed was fairly high, but the output quality was not quite up to par. The trial version burns the first five tracks of any CD as often as you want, apparently. Though it handles its main job well enough, CD to MP3 Ripper provides no extra functionality or usability compared to the better freeware rippers on the market.
