Its professional-looking, media-player interface makes it easy to jump to the desired shot and save it in BMP, JPEG, GIF, or TGA format. All that's missing is the ability to automatically capture several frames in a row. A basic picture-editing tool lets you resize, rotate, correct brightness and contrast, and convert to grayscale without quitting the program. We would have liked to see an internal feature for setting an image as wallpaper. However, our only real quibble is with the stingy seven-day trial period. Even with that, the $14.95 price of the registered version is reasonable. For this specialized purpose, EZV Video Capture is a great choice.
