Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffNovember 7, 2008Here's a handy little application that performs its basic functions well, and what's more, it's free. However, if you're looking for a more robust utility, don't get too excited by the price tag as you'll be disappointed with the features. DeluxeFTP offers a basic set of features and settings for downloading and uploading to FTP servers. There are no macros, scheduling or secure protocol support, but the program can download/upload several files at once to and from multiple FTP servers. Also, DeluxeFTP can resume a transfer once it's been interrupted. We like the basic interface, and you can move and hide any window or panel you're not using. The only downside is pesky dialog boxes that seem to pop up every time you transfer a file. Overall, DeluxeFTP gets a thumbs-up for ease of use and reliability.
