Typically, a cable or DSL customer has a dynamically assigned IP address. At the very moment you are in your office or away on a business trip and you need to access your home computer, the IP has been changed and you have no way to access your system. We developed the IP Tracker so that once installed on your remote computer system, it will periodically check your IP address. If the IP address is unchanged the software does nothing. However, if the IP address changes for any reason, the software will send an e-mail to the address specified notifying you of the new IP address.
