Music Video Downloader is actually a package of several utilities: One searches music services for videos and extracts the URLs for downloadable files. Another extracts URLs from shortcuts the user has copied from sites such as RollingStone.com and VH1.com. To actually download the videos, you plug the processed URLs into yet another utility called Net Transport. It's an unwieldy arrangement. Another minus is that you can't configure the software to search other music sites. Also, the HTML help file is accessible from only one of the utilities. If you're a daily customer of, for example, Launch.com, this application is great for downloading video files. However, if you're looking for a way to save streaming video from other sites, look elsewhere.
